Check your PC tech specs before purchasing. They are backwards compatible with Thunderbolt-3 (TB3) and USB-C systems, but older systems may not support the fastest data and highest monitor resolutions/refresh rates. Many are based on the reference Goshen Ridge JHL8440 design disclosed in July 2020 and certified in November 2020.
